MAF question

Can a MAF still be bad even though it reads good a/f numbers?
I get 5-6 idle
255 wot

I'm still working on this stupid intermitent idle problem

I'm just frustrated from my car idleing good for a while then it idles like crap,then good again and sometimes stalls when I put it in gear. It started happening after I installed a roller cam. It runs great when it's on the road cruizing around though. Pulls great too.
I checked all my sensor readings at idle (hot) and wot with the sm. everything seams up to par.
