Funny how many others i know say the same.....their electrical items are just no good for some reason it seems!

The Translator or Translator Plus will work with any chip. Of course we recommend the Extender but the TurboTweak unit is the only other thing I would also recommendAntagon said:Don't mean to hijack the thread, but to use the LS1 MAF and translator, do I need to use the translator chip? I wanted to pick up a turbotweak chip.
I went the Trans+ route for tunability before my original crapped out, that way I have a spare original AC Delco MAF for the TTA. Yes, a good aftermarket stock replacement can be found, but each MAF is a little different in how it reacts, thats the reason you may have to go thru a couple before finding a good one...this is also one of the reasons GM did not continue to use this design because it was not very durable.Blown&Injected said:Have read the 4 or 5 thing, but also hear many chime in with mine is fine. 2QUIK6, did you have to go thru lots of aftermarket MAF's before finding one that worked?
