Make a moded 200r4 shift softer and sooner at light throttle

Hi!

Have a modified 200r4 that is specified to take 600hp/torque from a big block, with the current engine I at most will see 500hp and it's an LS engine.

The tranny shifts at light throttle at 2100rpm every time and it really gives a kick. Since the car is 99% a daily driver I'd like to soften the shifts at light throttle and get it shifting a lot sooner at light throttle but I want to retain the hard shifts at heavy throttle to wot.

The pump has been modified and I do think I got the .570 boost valve and the .400 low reverse valve with both accumulators blocked.

Any ides how to soften the shifts and make it shift much sooner at light throttle?

What's you tv cable setup? If you don't have the correct amount of travel this could happen.

Found a washer in the TV valve which was 3mm thick that might be the cause for the late and hard shifts at light throttle?

Can't comment on that no idea if that's a normal builders trick or not.
