Well last week I finally took delivery of a new S&W .500 Magnum 8 3/8" Hi-Viz with full compensator. Ever since I was able to test my hand at one at Impact Arms in Ogden, Utah I fell in love with them. Who else on here has one?

Since I have taken on handloading and now casting bullets it makes it very affordable to own, and be more than a safe queen.

The recoil is extremely manageable and allows for 50-100 rounds of shooting in a day and not being sore.
I'm very happy overall with accuracy and shooting feel and it makes my Ultra-lite .38 special look like a toy!

So one might ask what I the world would you need/use that for? Because I want one seems to be an acceptable answer I my book.

I had ear protection in, though I should still invest in muffs. I usually have glasses on but forgot them at home this time.

I love the big bore handguns, I have a T/C 358JDJ hand cannon from SSK and a Redhawk in 454 casull. I have short fat fingers and can't properly hold alot of guns like the X frame Smiths, & Taurus Raging bull, that gun looks like fun!!! Good thing you reload cause factory loads will cost more than the gun before you even break it in !!

Right on $75 per 20 rounds would make me go broke with how much I love to shoot it!
