Getting ready to remove power booster for some repaint and detail work , the previouse owner did not understand how this system works with the accumlater and all and he had overfilled wich in turn ran down on brackets and electric motor any way it looks like crap and im going to remove system to clean and repaint,im assuming i would just unbolt from firewall my main question is im sure there is a clip or something to hold shaft in line with cylinder bore anyone got any info. on this? thanks Eric

If you want to remove the PM system from the car, it does unbolt from the firewall inside the car. The actuator arm is held to the brake pedal with a clip. You can review the removal process by clicking on the hydroboost graphic in my sig. You can skip to step 4.
