I have that "Iceman" interview on DVD. One of the most interesting programs I have ever seen.

That guy was truly a cold hearted monster. I remember when he stated that he shot some dude on his motorcycle at a red light with a cross bow of all things just to see if it would kill someone. No contract hit, just for an experiment. Sick fuk!

Should make for a great movie tho.

Yep I seen that on HBO. He was definitely an interesting character to say the least. I like the one story he told about his younger days where he was on some road in Georgia and these three guys in a van decided to try and run him off the road. He pulled over to the side of the road, went to the trunk and took out his .357 revolver, and apparently these guys had poor vision cause they walked up towards him and he shot all of them dead! Got back in his car and drove off. The psychiatrist asked him if the guys committed a capitol offense and deserved to be killed and he replied something to the effect of "Well I did kill them, so they must've at that point in time".

I would like to read the book Philip Carlo did on him, it seems like he was made into this monster by his screwed up wacko parents especially his father Stanley. Rourke seems pretty good at playing the sick phuck roles so he should do a good job.

Definatly a great idea for a movie, I think rourke would be perfect for that part.

or Robin Williams.

If Rourke lost a little muscle mass he would be A-1 absolutely perfect for the job.

Not that it matter now since he's dead, nor did it matter when he admitted to killing those (3) guys since he was never getten out of jail anyways but im suprised he was not charged by the GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigations) with those murders. Or any of the others he admitted to.

I think the most interesting thing was that he lived in a nice neighborhood and was a devot family man.

agree that guy was crazy

i also saw the HBO special and a few other mentions on other programs like trutv and other channels i can honestly say he's not the only one as we read about people like him and there are plenty who live among us every day. makes me feel alittle better i'm not some person who's unaware of my surroundings. i'm far from a hit man but anyone who does the stuff he talks about is outta their mind. i remember the one where he said he put poison in some marks food when they got up to take a whizz. then watched them eat it knowing they were going to die. makes you wonder how someone can do something like that without remorse. when i saw the interview he did with HBO it seems like he enjoyed talking about what he did. i'm sure there are more crazy people then him free now who may be our neighbor but still to be that cold just shows he earned his name.

Im not sure I have ever heard of anyone quite like him but ur right tho there are many similar to him that have simply never been caught.

Those are the dangerous ones cause they are smart enough to never get caught or go decades before they do and kill maybe 100+ before slipping up like he did. Thousands of unsolved murders every year in this country.

I think the fact that he was smart enough to use cyanide to kill people and seemed to be an expert in using it definitely helped him avoid being caught because apparently that stuff is very hard to detect during the autopsy/toxicology tests. It's really too bad he worked for the bad guys cause had he worked for the CIA he probably would have been a very successful wetboy.

The Iceman was one of the most interesting, and detailed pyschopaths interviewed ever. His work for the Gambino family and the horrific details of his hits and torture were mind numbing. Even the story of what he seen others do to the people the Mob needed tortured and killed were gruesome, and simply evil. The evil ice-cream man, torturing of the mobsters hit men at the Gemini Lounge in Brooklyn by Roy Demeo, and the way they dismembered and watched people die slowly..

The worst is when he took certain guys the Mafia wanted killed very slowly and painfully. They were instructed to make it terrorizing to scare others. He bound them up and put them in a dark, rat infested cave in Upstate New York. He would videotape them being eaten alive, literally...

Why not get the REAL Iceman to play the part ;)
