Mini Starter

I have this one from autozone. It is tiny and sounds awesome too.

My stock bolts fit for some reason. correctly at that!!

So is the Autozone/O'reillys/etc. the one to avoid as it is the "cheap" one? Is the good LT-4 starter only available from GM? I want to avoid getting one with the plastic gear.

I am not sure about the gear being plastic but I have had the starter for about 6 years with no problems. It wasnt very cheap price wise though. I would hate to price the GM one!!

I got this from RockAuto. Can someone just pick one for me? GMPartsDirect wants $379 shipped. AutoZone wants $118.99 for the Duralast 17124 (same part # as Remy) which is made by Nippondenso. O'reilly wants same price as Autozone for their Ultima (don't know manufacturer).
