Just been thinking, when i get my 2.5'' DP fab up and all that done. I was thinking of using these in place of the 4 Bolt setup, connects the DP and CAT,weld these in place then use a Vband clamp. Would this be a good idea? V Band Clamps

I was also thinking of making the DP into a 2 or 3 piece with Royal Crown.(ha)

No really, add this to the DP when if ever i need to Take it apart with easy. Add one by the flange, then a little down by the headers or so, then where the DP and CAT connect.

Excellent idea.
I have been trying to figure out how to get this done on an existing 3".
Almost impossible to add it and still get the benefits it is intended for.

Make sure the pipe is at least a 2 piece, if you still have the AC box and inner fender.
Otherwise it will be HARD to remove/install without lifting the motor.
Let us know where you position it.

I'm planning on doing the same thing. It will make it much easier to work on the car and should make it easier to fit the 3" pipe I'll be making in a few weeks.
