Looks like it also has an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a solid MAF pipe. Nice.

Thanks, I am trying to find out as much info on this car as possible as we are going to sell it and I do not want to mis-in-form anyone but I also don't want to give it away because I don't know what I have either,, I know notta about these cars, (as you can probably already tell).

Looks like someone went through the Kenne-Bell magazine. I've run that chip and intercooler. A little outdated but good stuff.

Yes they did I also have found alot of KIRBAN reciepts, This car was done in 1990 It has been garaged every since, 87 regal, I see your from missouri,, What part if you don't mind me asking..

I'm over by Whiteman Air Force Base. And yourself?

If your car is just a GN I see someone tried to clone it to a GNX by the fender vents, and is that a GNX emblem in the grille?

More pics would tell us what you have. Nice car, why the sale?

WOW!! I am over by Windsor, what a coincedence.. Yes Someone did try to clone the GNX (but as we all know that can never happen) Yes it is a GNX Emblem in the grill, It also has the one on the dash #37 and it also has one on the trunk,, The story is that MIKE LORENZO from California bought the # 37 GNX, Totaled it and put allot of the parts on this car, I think that is BS. But I have also not been able to locate the # 37 car, It also baffles me that this was done in 1990, as I did not think that you could get the dash emblems then, But I am not sure, It has GNX on the wheels, and GNX on the steering wheel. (which I don't even think the real GNXs have that), In any case We don't drive the car, and I hate to see it set. I want something that we will actually get out and drive, I want a Ram Air. I just get in trouble with this car as I am a speed demon!! and to be honest I hate the fact that it is a clone, I think I would rather have a true GN.

Wow, Windsor, that's maybe 20 miles from me. I'm up here in Knob.

I've been thru that town once just to check it out. I saw a couple of Amish guys with a horse/buggy towing half a pre made house down Hwy 2, then got into town and then another Amish guy besides one of the gas stations in town.

Anyways, clone or not that looks like a nice car. I guess someone figured it's better to let the old car's good parts soldier on another Regal. I see there's an aftermarket turbo shield. I can't tell but it looks like a bigger down pipe. The up pipe also looks aftermarket. The torque strap on the alternator and those gauges in the center console and the pod are also aftermarket add on.

Ram Air? That sounds like a Trans AM, or an older Cutlass W30. Surprised you don't drive the car. Do you just not have time for it? I always take my Buick out no less than twice a month unless there's snow on the ground.

So do you know of any good car cruise ins? I've been scouting myself, I heard there's one in Sedalia but haven't been able to verify. I did find out there's a monthly meeting in Warrensburg but haven't been able to check it out.

I've got your solution!! Take off all of that GNX crap and I will drive down there with stock parts to make an even trade. Then you'll have a true GN!! I just like helping out members here. Those GNX dashes are so ugly anyway!! ;) Don't even get me started on those dumb wheels! :D

BTW, is the GNX rear there?

Maybe I can meet with you sometime and you can see my car in person and tell me what i have, They use to have an all BPO show in Warrensburg, don't know if they still have it or not, I go to the cruise night in Clinton every once in a while, I love this car, I just think it is to soupped up for cruises, Today was the first time I drove it since Last August, I have started it but never drove it, I won't drive it in the rain or even if the ground is wet, so this year is out LOL!!

Stack Why don't you just buy the whole car! then I won't have to take anything off, LOL,, I don't know if the rear end is GNX or not, I don't think so as I have a reciept for the rebuild to beef up the rear end, In any case the car will be sold as is, with everything on it the way it is, I just have to figure out a price, that is fair, and will move it fast, as I have a ram air in my veiw.:p :p

I wish that I were in the market. But let's get a price for you. How many miles on it? Also need to find out if you've got real GNX parts there. What have you done to track down #37? Here's a pic of a GNX rear:

Sounds good I'd love to see it up close and in person, then I'd be able to really see for myself what you have. No such thing as "too souped up for cruises"...shoot my car will get sideways trying to build boost down some roads around here, I just learn to take it easy and respect it and if I'm gonna show off make sure I'm straight and already moving some. ;) I'd like to check out the Clinton show sometime. The car show in Warrensburg I found was by the McDonalds the 1st Sat of every month. Wanted to go to the last one but had to work.

OK here is the deal, I does NOT have the GNX rear end, It has a GNX aftermarket cover, but it is not the original GNX rear end, and for as far as looking for the # 37 car, I just looked on the GNX registry page, it is one that is missing, I have tons of paper work on the car, of everything that was ever done to it, and the time card on some of the work to show how many hours was spent on the car, In 2003 The motor was completly gone through, and so was the turbo,in Dearborn MI This was the second time the first being in 1990. I honestly don't think anything on the car is from a GNX but the name plates. that is why I say that it is BS when they told me it had GNX parts on it, BUT I cannot find any information on the # 37 car, The Transmission has been rebuilt to handle the motor torque and the rearend also, It has had the sway bars replaced with heavier ones, (that is what royal chevrolet told me after I bought it). I was told that it runs high 9's to low 10's ( i have not tested this thery), and we don't have the location around here to do so, I just want to be honest about this car when selling it, So lets just say it is modified to GNX specs. The last carfax shows 76000 miles approx...

They just had the last cruise this last Saturday, the next one will be in about a month, I will try to keep you posted, This is not a parade car, It wants to run, It will roast the tires for a block easy, and you cannot see a thing behind it from the smoke,,,,that is where I got my name I leave a cloud of smoke to thick to breath, when I leave Clinton, and then shut it down at about 130 mph...it is a blast!!!:p :p The BPO show was always at the Old car dealership,,,Look forward to meeting you,,

After more reading, I see you are NOT selling the car. My mistake.

I have always wanted that rear. I might get the jig from Kirban and build it myself. You got the good stuff man, have fun!
