I have run my KB headers on my stk block to the 10.40's. I have sold that block and going with T/A block and I am looking to run mid 9's. I would like to keep the headers and my 3" Terry Houston DP. I was thinking 76 GTQ turbo, but- they do not make a 3 bolt on that size turbo. I am sure I can cut the 3" off and weld on a 4"- but, would the header tube size being small make it such that it would not be worth it? Larry

You can buy a 3 to 4 bolt adapter from most turbo vendors I'm sure.

I may have one at home if you want to email me: gnx7@hotmail.com

Hope I didn't screw up here- I am told my 74 will be here 1 week. I did not know Craig made the 76 in the 3 bolt  Steve I thought you were to keep an eye on me and keep me headed in the right direction :D Larry

Larry,
At the most... all you will need is a exhaust housing change. Not bad in the grand scheme of things. ;)

Hey sorry 'bout that, but if you ordered it from John it's his fault for not telling you he made a 3-bolt 76 GTQ;)

No- that was not the case. I did e-mail him early on and he did respond. However, I did not ask that question. At that time, I was already talking to his compeditor. I was thinking 76,but it was suggested I go with the 74 for two reasons. No1: that would support 900 HP and they did not make a 76 in a 4 bolt. And therefore, I ask John Craig only for a price on a 74 as a comparison. He did respond, but I went with the other guy because I was buying other things from him. The 74 will mostly be plenty. I hope to run 800-850 HP and Mid 9's tops. I just love my Buick- the more I spend $$$$$ on it- the less I use it  What really amazes me, is that, I show the car once in awhile. I race it and I do not get a scratch. But- I let it sit in my spacious garage- all covered up for a year at a time and when I pull the cover- BING- there are marks, and dents  How does that happen. Must be a dent fairy out there. :D Ya gotta love it. Larry

Yeah the 74 should be plenty considering there are TSM guys going mid 9's with a 70 3-bolt GTQ..... As far as the dents and the marks don't feel bad cause I've found a few on my car and I have no idea how they got there considering my car is not driven all that much and it sits in a garage:confused: If I get my hands on that dent fairy:mad:  :D
