He means the bolts that hold the transmission to the engine. (but that's not your problem)

Later on today I'm gonna take the TC off. Which one should I be praying for..motor or tranny. I think tranny cause its still under warranty

Definitely pray its the tranny for the free warranty factor and you can R&R a trans with minimal amount of experience

I like this kid. He's got a good sense of humor and has the balls to admit when he screwed up. This is one of the best threads in a while. At least it does involve a one legged stripper.

Like this?:D

Yeah I was paying complete attention to it. And what I noticed was that it shifted PERFECTLY fine but it would have a "huuuuummmmm" noise at a high pitch as if it was whining. What would u think that means?

Do what you are going to do and take the bolts out and crank it up.Do you know what converter you are running in the trans?

Don't take this the wrong way DANNY BOY, but if someone asks you to check the bell housing bolts and you post a pic of the throttle body and say [on the throttle body?] you shouldn't be working on the car in the first place.:p

Talk about the school of HARD KNOCKS, you're going to be knocking for a long time. I just hope the door opens before you give up on your hoopty.

I should have never mentioned it. I almost had it out of my head!

Duuuuuuude I knew he wasn't talking about the bell housing bolts because Derrek has referred to my throttle body as a bell housing multiple times before...
Anyways I could care less if I don't have knowledge of cars..how else are ya gonna learn. I have no fear it fuckin things up on this car anymore., I'm passed that phase. Lemme ask you something. How did you learn to work on your turbo v6? Did you take some classes at the university or did you pick up a damn wrench and screw some shit up.? Because I highly doubt most of you guys actually sat down and learned how to work on these things without trial and error or teaching yourself(don't get me wrong there's guys out there that have done just that)

Listen I'm 18 and I'm aware that I hardly have a clue of what I'm doing(compared to you guys) but honestly I don't really know of anyone my age that has the balls to tweak with a car the way I do.
In all honestly I love doing this crap, it's fun, entertaining, I pick up in new things fast, and it sure as hell beats sitting in a class room I can tell ya that.
