On Cal's car he mounted the pump underneath the passenger rear seat. We havent put the system to run yet..ran out of time for the Reynolds evenet..
I dont have experience on the Buicks doing a trunk application on a faster car. Typically when I have done rear tanks, i've mounted the pump up front and ran the hose accordingly. Keeping the pump mounted lower than the tank so that its always gravity fed.
Vehicles in the 60's before EFI.. had fuel pumps mounted on the engine..
