What type of diiference should one see? My 1/8 MPH seems low compared to my 1/4. I am seeing an increase of an average of 25 MPH from the 1/8 to the 1/4. Ex: 7.73 @88.9 - 12.09 @ 113.3 and 7.59 @ 92.8 - 11.74 @ 118.9. Does this seem right? I'm thinking that my 1/8 mph is low. The car has stock unported heads (w/new springs), I run 27" tall tires and usually lock the converter. (Don't dog my times, My track is at 5800')

Its just a rule of thumb but for our cars I have always found that if you multply 1.57 by your 1/8 times you will be very close to what the 1/4 times are and yours is very close. Your MPH looks about right to me.

Good Luck

I wouldn't say your 1/8 mph is low considering the times, but your 1/4 mph seems pretty high (which isn't a bad thing). I've heard locking the TC gets you about 2-3 mph, which could be the case.

It seems that even the mildest modded cars up to some 11 sec beasts will gain about 20-22 mph from the 1/8 traps to the 1/4 (without locking the TC) so yours seem right on. These cars are all 1/8 mile...after that you should see the bad guys waaaaaay back in the side-view mirror!

Good runs, especially considering the elevation!
