Two of my dogs are featured in two separate calendars this year. I am bragging I know….but I am going to do it anyway

This is Roxie - she is 13 - You have to click the link for the back of the calendar - “click to enlarge” and it is not a big picture. She is the right-hand column, 4th one down. Has a tall grass background.

Siberian Husky 2007 Calendar - MegaCalendars

This is Marley - she died at the ripe age of 15 back in May of this year - Lower left corner:

Great looking dogs! I used to own a husky, even though we had papers for him, a wolf must have been in the family somewhere, the guy was NUTS:eek:

Thanks. Yeah, they are all a little nuts. I have 5 of them and my house is always a wreck!

Hey, I just bought that same calendar !! Marley looked great at age 15.

My own Siberian is now age 13 -- most people think she is age 3-4, because she is in such good shape and so energetic.

I once thought, but didn't act, to buy a 2nd Siberian so they could keep each other company. I can't imagine what 5 Huskies would be like
My back yard has some holes big enough for a child to completely crawl into. If my concrete block fence didn't have 2-3 foot deep footings, I have little doubt she would have tunneled under by now.

Pics of Keisha at age 11-ish:

Marley was full of energy up to the point. She had a stroke and it was over pretty quickly. :-(

Keisha is very pretty. I look at her face and it reminds me of my "almost 2" year old female "Clipper"....seen here...

Helloooo pictures from dogs photos on webshots

Must be the blue eyes :-)

I have fenced in 1/2 acre behind the house for the dogs to roam in. 4 1/2 foot high chain link fence with a hot wire on the top and down at the bottom so they do not dig. I have no had any jail breaks yet!

I made an agreement with them early on. They get the back yard and I won't bother with landscaping but I get the front yard.

Man i wish i could get my dog in a calender, but he would have to sit still and not get freaked out over the camera first.

Ain't nothin like huskies.............Have some HAIR!! ;) I leave a trail wherever I go.......

My 2 females are 10-9 and still look/act like they're 3-4........... The Buicks take a back seat to them......

I'll never be without atleast one.........

Congrats on the calender appearance!!

Well, getting a Siberian to sit still is pretty hard to do too. That is why most of those dogs are either old or puppys. Old dogs don't want to bother running away....puppies don't yet know they can.... :)

Russ - the hair isn't tooooo much of a problem as those that are still showing get baths and blown dry frequently. They patchy clumps of hair is pretty much a once a year deal. But, we do keep Hoover in business.

I see it now in a few years, Siberianoodles.....non-shedding Siberian Huskies :)

2QUIK6 - nutty.....our youngest is called "noodle" :D

I don't mind the hair. This is one of the breeds that doesn't have the typical dander you get with Labs, Goldens, Collies...etc. You can pet them and snuggle your face into their fur and you don't get that "doggy" smell.

Congrats on the callender, beautifull dogs! here is a pic of my puppy he's not a husky but he's a Brazilian Mastiff (Harley) He's 1yr old in this pic and weighs around 180lbs and thinks he's a lap dog!!.. Scot w.

Hey Scot - he is a cool looking dog.

What is it with dogs that they love couches? Do you give in and let him have the couch while you sit on the floor? That is what happens at my house.

I know exactly what you mean, I have a Chow mix that we usually keep groomed with short hair in the summer because of that, but still has the dander....then we have a standard 75lb poodle that is just the opposite... funny how they are breeding standard poodles with all kinds of other breeds to try and make non-shedding dogs.

All the members of TB.com couldn't get my Casey in the bath tub........:) She fights like we're killin her..........You end up laughin so hard we just say forget it.........They both stay very clean somehow anyway.......Until they catch mr skunk in the yard..........Happens almost every year........

My Kallie remembers what the skunk does..........Casey is so caught up in the moment of kill mode she usually faints from the lack of oxygen and passes out before she realizes..........OH NO, YOUR NOT A CAT!!!! F^%$!!!!!!!

"Dad..........................It happened...................again".........:(

That's why I love ya Case!!!!

Been there with the skunk problem. We call them the "Black and white kitty".

Ours are used to being bathed from a very early age. In fact, my youngest spent most of her puppy mornings in the walk in shower with me just laying in the corner being rained on.

Jason, it IS Mollie's couch. The sooner you accept that the easier it will be for both of you.

When we got our first new couch after being married for 7 years we got a leather one. Soooo much easier to keep clean of dog hair.

As I type, my 5 year old Sibe has arranged one of the leather pillows and is perched on top of it watching me.

I guess haha. She also owns the beds, the pillows, and is very demanding.

Jason
