It's not like a surgeon or 2 have ever left a scalpel or sponge in a patient

Update!! Went to Muncie that night. Did a burnout and it shook the tires at the end of burnout. I stopped the car and saw this part come sliding out from underneath the car and slide 50' out in front of me. What the heck is that?? Hell --thats the master cylinder resivour!! I figured at that point I had used up all my luck and better just go home!!! What do you think?? Mike:cool:

Mike, did you find a piece for it yet?

Ronnie, I got with tilton and I have 2 coming( might as well have a spare) that actually are quite a bit smaller. The one that broke was 10.7 oz and it was normally used on road race or oval track cars that use up a lot of brakes. The tech said that I should be fine with a 4 oz unit for my application. I will probably still put a support brace on the cap to prevent this from happening again. BTW thanks for your help and all your phone calls to reserve spots for me. I will back over there , I promise!!! Mike:cool:

One of my friends left a paper towel in the engine of his Buick. He wondered why the oil pressure sucked. That towel was covering the entire pick up. Once i dropped a small nut and it bounced around when i had the intake off. Sounded like it stayed in the engine. I spent about 3 hours looking for the little bastard in the ports and in the cylinder with the plug out and a magnet. Rotated the engine around a few times by hand. It wasnt in the oil pan either. So i gave up looking and crossed my fingers and everything was ok when i started it. Never found that damn nut.
