Sounds like my luck.

All I have to do is walk up to something,(no matter what it is), It will break right before my eyes. It's like black cloud that fallows me around. I don't get it but it never fails.

No spark? Check the crank sensor like already stated.

Are you running any aftermarket chips? I got bit by this a few weeks ago as a new owner running an extender chip. If the battery dies or the cable is disconnected it goes into anti-theft mode and will not start. I had to go through a series of sequences with the shifter and gas pedal to dis-arm the thing.

You can get the corvette mini starter at auto zone. Do a search here for the part number.
BTW what is "wrought"?

Orange wire plugged in around the battery?

Check diagnostics for Cam sensor too. When these cars won't start its usually simple. Cam sensor, crank sensor, fuel pump on, enough fuel pressure, or coil pack. Personally, I've only experienced a broken fuel pressure line and a cam sensor pin breaking causing it to run rough and then no start condition.

ive disconnected the battery before so i doubt its the chip. and once i removed the starter i learned that it already had a mini starter on it, it turns ou that some wire inside burned off the starter still worked according to afrien that does rebuilds so it was easily fixed. anyways car should be painted by friday i am gonna go check it out today it should be primerd and ready for paint. in will post up pics of the car today and after i get it over to sod at hye tek i will repost what the problem was. thanx everyone for ur input and 2 cents..

Why did you take anything apart? Why not have a reputable tech look at it? Nobody's asking you the right questions!!! (just to level the playing field, I am an ase master mechanic that specializes in driveability) No spark alone is 10%. Do you have injector pulse? That would have ruled out the coil pack. Turn the key on. Do you have a check engine light? The orange wire at the battery powers the pcm. If that isn't working, nothings happening!!! Is the cam turning, or is the timing chain an issue? Not trying to be rude, but any reputable tech worth his salt should be able to evaluate this car in 5-10 min and at least have an idea before ANY parts are pulled! I own a garage and I get this all the time. Usually when a car is a virgin breakdown it's not too bad, but once a "novice with pride" f**cks with it, it can get ugly! Not busting your balls, but have some that know's what they are doing fix it! Again, no disrespect!!

Do you have L1?;). You are correct with your post. Theres 4 things you need. Air, Fuel, Spark, and a GD computer to contol it all.
