Got rid of my 02 Camaro SS two years ago when we found out we were expecting, so I did the adult thing and bought a crew cab Sierra. I got so bored driving a 5000 pound barge that I couldn't take it anymore.....

Feast your eyes on this 4,700 mile beauty! One of only 77 produced in red with a manual transmission. I can't believe the level of refinement in this car. From suspension, handling, ergonomics, and build quality, this car impresses me every time I drive it.

Nice!. If I could swing one I'd be Rollin it too. Bout as rare as a we4 I hardly see any come up for sale any more. I gotta have an auto as the wife doesn't drive a manual and I drive one all day so I'm not interested in rowing after work.
Any times yet? Gotta exercise that 6.2.

I got a pretty good deal on this one, it came with two sets of factory wheels and tires, two exhausts, 3M clear paint protector over the entire front end, fenders, and mirrors, a car cover, and an additional 6 years and 60K miles of extended warranty. With they way these are holding their value over the last 5 years, I bet I can daily drive this and not take hardly any depreciation on it.

No times yet.....but 430 hp and a 3.70 gear makes this thing fly! Gotta get used to rowing my own gears again.....its been a long time! From what the forums tell me it should be a 12.70-12.80 car with the right driver.

NICE ;)

I wanted just a G8GT for quite a while, saw one done up spank a zo6 at milan, a few weeks later the zo6 was in the background during a news report on illegal street racing and how they confiscate the car... off topic, sorry.

The GXP is a sweet set-up. I would really like the new SS.

very nice daily driver will eat bmw m3,s up. go to youre local scca track you will love it. and than the mods start oh my!

Buhog....what's your point? GM didn't export a bunch of Pontiacs back overseas to sell in Australia where they already made the Holden.

There was a totaled one that a buddy found online, he was bidding, went too high for his taste. Was a manual gxp... He only wanted the drivetrain and brakes.
Numbers may vary as he said totally different numbers than what anyone here has said.
There sure are a shit ton of v6 g8's running around to get body parts from though.

There's a company that sells the Holden / HSV front conversion kit. Looks really nice.

Those Holden conversion kits are nice, but the price on that stuff is crazy! They get $600 for a spoiler, $500 for the airbox that connects to the grille, etc. plus you get to pay shipping from Austraila!

Good score--and it is an instant classic collectable. I've got 98,000 on my '09 G8 GT and have thoroughly enjoyed the car. The new Chevy SS will be available next year with the 6 speed manual, but with a price that will keep it out of my driveway...

so true nothings cheap any more. inspirers us all to build our on stuff and it dosent hurt to have a small scale machine shop at home.

I looked into grabbing a new SS before pulling the trigger on this car....no dealer around me would sell one at sticker. I saw markups from $3000 to $7500. I'm not dropping $60K on a new Chevrolet unless it has cross flags on the nose or a blower under the hood. Plus the SS just seemed too understated for me. It looks like a Malibu with a big brake kit and 19" wheels.

Something about Pontiac's hood designs on the G8 and the WS6 Trans Am's makes the car so menacing in someone's rear view mirror!

Nice score! I bought an 09 G8 GT new and loved every second driving that car. I sold it with 135,000 miles on it and still got damn good money for the mileage! They hold their value pretty well, and yours being a GXP will be even better. I just saw a white one about an hour ago too.

hello people; No offence TTT but it looks like another toy. I'll bet it'll be in a garage for the winter and that's alright but a DD to me is out there no matter what the weather brings. It does look like a nice driver.
have fun

Let me know how much you're willing to bet.....

I'm not saving this thing for the next guy, it will be driven every single day I go to work. Blizzaks, baby seats, grocery store runs.....you name it!

hello TTT; That's refreshing to here that your going to really use it as a DD. My TB sits to much and that's not good for nothing not that I would make it my DD but I'd like to get it out more often. I recently got one also and that's a 2013 CRV. My 94 van is just about done with me and I'm sure I'll miss it at times as you will with your truck. I believe you might have your hands full with that car in the snow. Good luck with it.
Do you like coffee and is there a Dunkin Donut near bye? I'll bet some sort of gift card.
have fun
