SignUp Now!oh! My fault. Thats impressive. Is that mph or kmh.
What were you driving? Was it that SWEEET turbo-Chevelle?
Where did you find a steep enough hill?
Not G bodies and definitely not an A body. It would likely take over 700hp and you would need to find a way to stop the air from getting under the car. The Chevelle in his sig would likely top out in the 150-160mph range.Based on your car's aerodynamics and the times listed in your signature,
I have a feeling your GPS is a little optimistic.
Street cars that can do 200mph are usually at least in the 120mph range in the quarter and faster.

Brian,
I agree, we have a couple Corvettes and a Supra that have seen the
200mph. Not with me in the car, (thank God).
We rolled a 155 speedo in OD on a 4th gen Camaro with a 150 shot.
That was as fast as I need to go on the street.
We wound out 3rd with the TT stage 2 car on the freeway.
I have no idea how fast we were going since I concentrating
on looking at the MoTeC numbers, EGT and not soiling the seat...
Took about 15 sec of WOT in 4th to get there.
Ive been over 160mph in my black car when i was really crazy. Took about 15 sec of WOT in 4th to get there. The car had about 550hp at the flywheel back then. Probably had enough to go 170+ but i wasnt feeling to comfortable at that speed.
