I turned mine into a Buick. De-chromed the bumpers and had vinyl letters put on the bed sides. Just put new shoes on it but do not have pictures with them yet. They are black with chrome hoop kinda sorta like my Simmons on the GN

I didn't see anywhere if you'd had it tuned, if not I'd definitely do a Westers tune on it. I tuned my last truck (99 model Z with a 5.3) and my new truck (08 with a 6.2) and its a night and day difference. CJH has 3 tuned in his family - a 5.3, a 6.0, and a 6.2 and same deal with all of them - they all run much harder than stock. Best part is if you buy another vehicle they will return the old one to stock and tune the new vehicle for $45. Beats the hell out of the handheld diablo and hypertech controllers.

Doesn't have a tune done. It is a dog off the line though and I think it may because of the dual exhaust. Will I lose gas mileage different tune?

I actually gained a mpg or 2. (I have trouble keeping my foot out of it though). They have different options, but I did the 89-91 octane hot tune, removed the torque management from the tranny and it magically wasnt a dog anymore. Its one of those deals too where if you get it and it needs tweaking - something isn't to your liking, they will work with it until youre happy. I know of at least 8 vehicles with this tune and all of them were dead on - no tweaking needed. It'll pull the car/car hauler better too.

Thought about doing some major mods after its paid off. More power is one of them for sure

Here is my brothers truck that we built, fabricated, and WBO2 tuned everything on it ourself, frame up resto, firestone bags and 5.3 LS turbo 12PSI Water/Meth Injection, 4L60E, and Ected electronic locker. Tons of other mods including 2002 silverado interior.

I know it's been 4 years but I'm gonna bump this anyway. Anyone have a factory cd player or in dash disc changer they would be willing to sell? Can't seem to locate on locally in any of the yards. THe few I have found are all beat up. The little roller inside the cd player doesn't pull the cd in and out anymore. Pretty sure the wife broke it.
