Played hooky from the day job today to catch up on some things like getting the GN thru emissions. Off came the test pipe with electric cutout and swapped in the 3" cat. Headed off to emissions station and the car passes with flying colors. Heading out of the lot and here comes the local Carquest parts delivery truck into the lot on the wrong side of the road.

Give the guy a dirty look and then realize it was my uncle! Don't think he was fooling around or anything as he has never even seen my GN. Had to slam on the brakes so he didn't hit me. He's about 70 years old so I guess his driving skills aren't that good any more. That would have been interesting if he DID hit me.

Lucky you!, me not so lucky.
Last week my wife backed into the front drivers fender of my driver.
She says "just a slight bump". Reality = One wasted fender, fender trim fubar, side marker light damaged . On her truck [ford ranger] pushed in bumper, busted up tail light lense. :frown:

Guess that has my wife beat. She put our solar cover for the pool on our nicely sodded lawn that I put in myself and take great pride in. Oh yeah, was 95 out. By the time I got home 5 hours later the lawn was cooked to a crisp. Trying to get it to recover with tons of water.

Wish your GN was as easy to fix.

Mark let's not beat around the bush here. He's a CT Driver. He could have been 25 and it wouldn't have mattered ;)

I just finished fixing the momento left on my bumper from the last CT driver that decided to leave his mark on me.

Mark I feel your pain. I was puting black plastic sheeting under some bushes behind the house for a weed barrier under decorative gravel I am spreading there. I laid it out in front of them first as I cut it/slit it in order to fit it underneath them properly. Plastic was on the grass for no more than one hour in full 95° sun. I cooked a spot about 15 x 6. It's been two weeks and it's just about back to normal with dedicated watering and fortunately some rain. Sucks huh?
