mystery part I/D help

I had my valve body out and this part was found on the floor after. I can't find anything on this part. Help!!!

the curled end sticks out, the spring is compressed under that plate and the wire sticks out....hope it helps

If you leave the check ball out of the pocket beneath it you can leave it out.

McGiaver used that on episode 21 to stop the tank from smashing the babies in the hospital. chuck norris carries one with him too. jk glad someone knew what it was
