Of these turbos that have failed, has the vendor fixed any on warranty or has it been, well it's your baby now. I would be hard pressed to just "eat" it so to speak and then shell out another $700-$1000 on a different turbo. Is there any warranty at all on these things?

Precision rebuilt my PT-54 in about 4 weeks and i was back on the road again! Good service.....just turbo problem!

I have a place right down the road from me that rebuilt it.It will be back in a few days.Considerably faster than 4 weeks.Thay called and said they could machine the housings of my 52.They are going to put a 62-1 compressor wheel in it and a better turbine.

I'm another one with a serious PT-52 failure. Exh. wheel and bearing. I've seen pictures of some of the others and it looks the same as them. I talked to John Craig the other day about what to do about it for around $700 I can have my 52 built into a 45a which sure beats the gamble of trying to continue to run the 52.
