im having a hard time finding tires for my stock rims 87 gn, i have nittos in the rear 275 60 15s ,and factory 215s up front i want to go with a little wider tire up front, what do you recommend, and what are you guys running up front with the stock rims. i called the tire rack and they told me they dont make that many tires for our cars anymore.like i said i want to go wider but i also want the be safe thanks.

I use 235/60/15 Michelin Pilots, not cheap but work good with the Nittos.

I use them on both cars with Am. Racing 7" rims to match the 8" Am Racing rims out back.

They would also fit the stock rims too.

Reminds me I need to order a pair of Blizzaks for the winter. ;)

Tires

P235/60R15 up front will fit just fine with stock 7" rims and not rub. BFG T/A's are good street tires.. TireRack.com sells them, as do many other places. I bought Yokohama Avid's in that size from TireRack.com 'cause they were a little cheaper and I wanted to have a little money left over for the DRAG RADIALS I'm gonna get. HTH

235/60/R15's...........same height as factory, but wider. Fits on factory rims. No rubbing issues either! That's the way to go upfront.

I went w/ the 235/60/15's on a goodyear eagle #1 nascar. 8.1" tread-width. :)

Yup....if you're looking for a good ( and good looking ) tire fairly cheap look at a Mastercraft Avenger GT. Pretty much looks like a Radial TA but cheaper.
