need help iding 200-4r

I picked the tranny up from a local pick in pull for cheap but it doesnt have the id tag on it. The valve body has 4203 D 4 on it. And the governor has 8635891 and IFSTER-4. Can anyone tell me what I have? Thanks!

Can't help with those numbers. Look for an Ink Stamp on the side of the Valve Body.

Theres no ink stamp. I think it has been rebuilt before I bought it. So how else can I id this tranny?

Not really. Casting numbers are used on multiple years/models etc..
Without the Code Tag or Ink Stamp, IDing is next to impossible.

What is the casting number on the servo ? ?

Can you post a picture of the governor? That might give us some idea.

what did it come out of at the yard? most of them were probably installed in 307 powered B bodies, so that's probably what it is..

It did come from a junk yard. Problem is it came out of a car that never had a 200 in it. Once I get my camera back I will snap a pic of it.
