Need Help With Bracket On Oil Pan Stud

There is a bracket on the D/S side front corner of oil pan, holds trans lines in place.
Which way does this get mounted, trans lines are facing inside or outside? Also what else is this used for? There is another loop on the opposite side, maybe some wiring?
I am having a heck of a time installing this with the engine in.

I just went thru this on mine. I put it w/ the lines on the outside. Im puttin in the motor today and will let you know if thats backwards.

The mounting clip for the trans lines attaches outside of the oilpan. It's a pain to install, even harder to get the darn thing loose.

So then the opposite loop goes towards the inside, correct?
What is the other loop for?
