Need Help With Wiring Harness

Im seriously looking at buying and 84 GN. The cars got no motor or trans. Whoever owned it before hacked the wiring harness up. I cant tell if it was just the engine harness or other components like headlights. Most of the wiring come out from the bulkhead on the drives side and is cutup on the drivers side inner fender. I would like to put an 87 motor in it. My question is, where can i get harnesses at? Also what will have to be done to upgrade to the newer motor. I dont want this car to be stock, so I would want to put in stuff like a new computer, alcohol inj, maf, turbo, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Most all the wiring at the bulkhead connector is for the body, not the engine. A donor `84 G-body should have about everything you need there. For turbo car-specific wiring parts and upgrades try here: Casper's Electronics

Thanks Jimmy for the link. Would any G-Body work or would it have to be a turbo car? I am also still looking for info on putting a 87 motor in.

Any G-body (not sure on year) connector shell will work, the pins are different on most all model lines though. The pass side harness can be bought here as "engine harness", check parts for sale. It includes all of the wiring that goes through the grommet. On the other connector (C100) I will send you a pic via e-mail...
