Do a search on this site and the others too. I found detailed instructions with pics, but I don't remember where.

OOOOOps, I found it. Check out the direct scan website. Go to "downloads" and then click on "owners manual". Just make sure you get all of the "stuff" off of the connections or you will get goofy readings.
