need more help

I am trying to set the cam sensor but am having no luck. I put sensor in as per vortex website. Problem is I am using a volt meter and it says when hooked up it should show 5-12 volts and as you rotate it ccw it should drop to 0-2V. Mine is reading 7.2V and does not change when I rotate it

Please help...

Try it one more time with the voltmeter. You may just not be turning the sensor enough to see the voltage change.

figured it out.. When I was installing the cam sensor I bumped the engine to seat the oil pump drive rod. Well that move the sensor so When I went to set it it wasn't were it was supposed to be.

Note to self... set sensor 1st then bump engine.:redface:
