Ok , I just got my new motor back and my tranny has about 1300 miles on it. Well for the past week or so the tranny has made a funny loud buzzing sound when put in reverse and low gear(only when I first start up, after it warms up it goes away), and I was told it was the PR boost regulator, and that it was a normal thing. Well now I've noticed that if I get on it in 1st gear or from a stop the shift really doesn't feel like it used to. Even at part throttle it feels softer. It is still a positive shift at part throttle(it used to rip your head off, and scratch the tires and my mom hated it
). But putting any power to it, the 1-2 feels really weak and shifts a little early. I have adjusted the TV cable tighter but, that only prolonged the shifts and didn't firm the 1-2. The 2-3 still hits hard and the overdrive feels good. Today when I left a light, it started off in 2nd, which it had never done. I am going to drop the pan tommorow, but what could be my main culprits? Here is a build up of my tranny. 200 4r, PTS 12" 2800 stall, PTS pump with upgraded valves, super servo, PTS custom anchor pin, adjustable servo pin, Alto 2 3/8" Band, billet forward drum and center support, bottom feeder sump, deep pan, hardened pump stator, new clutches and an ART CARR shift kit. stock governor. Thanks for any help.
