Hey Guys, I am new to the Grand National world and i have been looking into getting a GN for some time. I was just wondering what are some things i need to look for and also look out for. Any warning signs i need to look out for? Anything would be a great service...

You will find a wealth of information on this board from members new and old and the search feature will answer most of the questions you have since most have been asked before.

Look at many. Don't buy the first one that makes u smile cause many will make u smile.

Go to the new members section and say hello and then go to your state section and see if someone is near you to go and help you inspect the car. If you go to your user controls you can add your location so we know about where you are. Do a LOT of reading and then start asking question. The guys here are mostly great but we will on occasion bust your chops so expect it but don't take it seriously.

I just purchased my GN recently. In addition to reading the advice from fellow board members here, the following link and book 'Kirbans Guide to Buying a Used 1986 & 1987 Buick Turbo Regal' were instrumental in identifying potential problem cars. And like the previous post said...when you are ready to go look at one, find a member in the area to go with you. Lotsa knowledgeable guys here willing to lend a helping hand.
