f body rad cheap at amazon for about 110
Autozone and others have them that price too and carry lifetime guarantee. They are aluminum and work great. You need to ditch the stock oil cooler lines though or adapt them. I don't run a cooler and many others don't as well.
How would I go about deleting the oil cooler lines? Is there a writeup?
Not really sure what it's worth. Is there any corrosion in it? What would you take? The guy rebuilding my 87 isn't even sure if mine is really bad.I've got a good stock brass one that I won't be using with both coolers so make me an offer minus shipping.
BTW-I'm in NJ so do you think shipping would be bad?
I can see what shipping will cost but it's in fantastic shape. No corrosion or issues. One of the guys in Houston just didn't need it and it's smaller than the one I've got now.

To do the cooler elimination all you need to do is remove the adaptor from the system and run a regular filter. If it helps I've been working on an extreemly limited budget and afer 3 years now I'm just getting the frame finished.

Would it be better to remove the factory oil cooler? Are there problems down the road with it? The mechanic said it would be a big problem to delete it. What would be the benefits of eliminating it-other then the cheaper price of replacing the radiator?

I'm right below Philly I have a stock GN radiator I'll let it go for $30. If you can come get it. It still flows good just really want it gone.LMK.
