How would I go about deleting the oil cooler lines? Is there a writeup?Autozone and others have them that price too and carry lifetime guarantee. They are aluminum and work great. You need to ditch the stock oil cooler lines though or adapt them. I don't run a cooler and many others don't as well.
Not really sure what it's worth. Is there any corrosion in it? What would you take? The guy rebuilding my 87 isn't even sure if mine is really bad.I've got a good stock brass one that I won't be using with both coolers so make me an offer minus shipping.![]()
I can see what shipping will cost but it's in fantastic shape. No corrosion or issues. One of the guys in Houston just didn't need it and it's smaller than the one I've got now.Not really sure what it's worth. Is there any corrosion in it? What would you take? BTW-I'm in NJ so do you think shipping would be bad?
I can take $100 + shipping since you're as far away as you are. I'll try and pack it up and see what it will cost to get to you so you've got a better idea of a total. As far as overall costs go you might be better getting rid of the oil cooler and going with the F body radiator.I really don't want to insult you, but I'm on a VERY LIMITED BUDGET. Would you take $100 shipped, if shipping isn't too bad? I hope I didn't insult you, but that's really all I can spare. This car hasn't run in 10 years and I finally got a few dollars to take it to someone who won't rip me off--hopefully.
Ok, please just let me know what shipping would be and we can go from there.I can take $100 + shipping since you're as far away as you are. To do the cooler elimination all you need to do is remove the adaptor from the system and run a regular filter. If it helps I've been working on an extreemly limited budget and afer 3 years now I'm just getting the frame finished.![]()
lol-it's 07719, thx againNeed your zip please. And as far as removing the cooler it's a non issue, believe me. The TR's started in 78 and before 84 none of them ever had one.![]()
