New 6265B DBB turbo arrives tomorrow and I need...

Hey Lou or anyone real close to home....
My new turbo arrives tomorrow and I need the following:

(1) reducer hose for the 3" MAF pipe to 4" turbo inlet (I oculd order form TRC but looking local first).

(1) hose 2.5 " to 2.5" to go from the turbo outlet to the IC pipe

(5) heavy duty hose clamps. Two for that 2.5" hose and two to replace the normal hose clamps on my up pipe to throttle body hose as well as one for a lower IC pipe connection hose.

Oh...and one of those plastic caps that goes over the alternator post on the back of the alternator....

Nah...she's all happy right now.:biggrin: I just got the whole house re-carpeted and I re-painted the living room for her.

I still need to pay property taxes in the next couple weeks so I'm scrapping the bottom of the barrel

I'll be retorque-ing the heads this weekend and will bring the TQ wrench by after that...or let me know if you need it sooner...

Who knows... maybe I'll get lucky and uncover another inexpensive... preferably free... performance upgrade for the chicken coupe.

FedEx came by and my wife didn't answer the door cuz she was bare niked. So he left since the turbo requires a signature for delivery.

I told her that tomorrow, I don't care if she's bare niked....answer the freakin' door so my turbo can be delivered.

I've been doing my best...and you know I have...but this Frankenmotor you built me just dosn't quit...

On ther serious side...I plan on keeping the boost with this new turbo down around 18-19 psi...for as long s I can....:biggrin:

Were that the case I would transfer the top end parts & cam out of your old engine on to the new short block.
