Holy crap that's expensive. Any new g body stuff available is a good thing, but I don't think they realize, if we had that kind of money, we wouldn't be starting with g bodies in the first place LOL.

I was at a car show this past summer and ran into a guy who had a Schwatz frame under his '85 Monte SS. He saw my T and came up to talk and show me his car. It was a nice piece, but he did admit it was big $$$$. It is, in fact, the car pictured on their website...the owner of the car lives in Northeast Iowa.

The Monte had an LS1 in it and the Moser rear end...definately a sweet set up.

That's about the price of a comparable Art Morrison for a 55-57...

For that kind of $$$ I could build a way better frame. I would not even consider that frame an option.I have a pipe bender and a jig. I even have a friend with a chassis surface plate to build it on. 10k for that is a total joke. Might consider it at 3k, and thats a stretch. Frames are not that complicated, esp a perimeter frame like ours.

Looks like a nice piece....for the rich, or for those that truly love their G body enough to invest in it. I see they sell them for Novas...been wanting something like that for my Nova to replace the two subframes, but it's a lot of coin for a weekend driver.

There was a company at the World Of Wheels 2 years ago that builds a gbody frame. They started at 15k and sent up. Thats alot of cash for a frame .
