I got out to Pittsburgh Raceway Park for the last TNT session of the year. I put down my best time yet. It was not a 10 sec pass but I'm happy, and I did it without hurting the car here is my pass on 29# of boost.

60’ *** 1.579
330 *** 4.569
1/8 *** 7.111
MPH *** 96.61
1000’ ***9.318
¼ *** 11.202
MPH *** 119.45

Thanks for the compliment. All stock motor with 69k on it new valve springs and timing chain and gears. TE62 turbo, 009 injectors, CAS V4 intercooler, houston DP, XP fuel pump, LS1 maf with translator and extender chip, built trans with Precision 3200 lock up converter.
Timing was 25 degrees in first and 23 in second and third. Leaving with 8# of boost on 28x9 Hoosier slicks.

Awesome looking car and it hauls too. That is a fast pass..

Thanks Louie it means alot coming from a fast guy. I was hoping for 10's but i'm starting to think the car is too heavy and was not looking to break it! I'm going to upgrade the rear, the fuel system and add some front skinnies over the winter and see what next year brings.

LOL.. In the long run you win. You drive your car more and enjoy it more, Mine...I only enjoy it 9 seconds at a time... :(
Oh and its way nicer than mine... :D

Thanks...You're right where I want to be performance wise...Our combo's are similar I have a PT61, dutt neck intercooler (just bought a precision fm going on over the winter), mease DP, built trans, 3200 PTS stall...I went 7.56 in the 1/8th with 25 pounds of boost, 18* of timing, 1.64 60' blowing through the converter BAD, I just got it back in so we'll see where it is now.

I drove my car 8 hours to the Nats this year. It got 25 mpg with the A/C on. It never missed a beat. I drive it to and from the track, but it's getting to be a pita draining gas and swapping slicks.
Does your car see much street driving? I've always been curious how many guys actually drive their 9 second cars on the street and how driveable they are?

Yeah but once you get there you'll want more, it's like a drug....right Louie? I think it never ends. With me first it was 12's then 11's now I want 10's.
I would really like to be able to race in TSM. I do not want to cage my car and I would get my ass handed to me! There are some heavy hitters in that class.

Well allow me to expand on my previous statement a bit...When I bought the car the plan was low 11's MAYBE a high 10 when it's set on murder, in colder weather...Then it'll be paint and cage...After the paint and cage I'll decide if I want to buy another car to go quicker with or take this one to the next level.
