New Best..Thanks Razor!

Was at the 1/8 mile track. Here's the slip info.

60ft-1.594
330ft- 4.626
660- 7.292
MPH- 98.97

This was on MT drag radials, 93 octane, blue knob at 12 o'clock.
Took out all the fuel the chip would allow, and put all the Timing IN the chip would allow (27 degrees 1/2)

25psi of boost, still NO knock, and the EGT's were 1450-1470 all night. I think she's still a little fat.

But I was pleased considering it's a stock long block

Just think i'm only 1.5 MPH away in the 1/8. My 10.9 runs were 6.9's at 100.

BTW, I dont think I know of any stock longblock car on Alky thats run those numbers.. Even on Race gas.. 99 in the 1/8 is pretty stout for only 25 PSI. Thats a lot of power..

I was thinking the same too my man. I'm going to a different 1/8 track as soon as I can to compare. I have a feeling there MPH is off. Last time out that I ran a 7.60 at another track it was at a hair over 90MPH. At this track I made a 7.61 @ 93MPH.

I made several runs in the low 7.30's and high 7.20's that were all in the 97.8-99.1 MPH. I think in actuality it's probably around 95 if I'm lucky.

But, I was still pleased. I left with 13psi on the 7.29 pass and she stuck on the DR's.

Gotta figure out the chip issues since I pulled all the fuel and added all the timing. And gotta figure a better boost controller. Car was going 23 in 1/2 and 25 in 3rd. Wanna try 27-28 in 1/2 and scale back to 25 in 3rd and see what she does

Ahh.. see your paying attention.. maybe the MBSTC will do the job. I run an EBC from Greddy(profecBspecII) with success, but wish I had the 3rd gear scaling. My tranny has the T brake so it doesnt have a 3rd gear switch in it anymore... so what i've been doing is messing withthe hi-lo settings.

Keep a it.. little by little. Less than .3 tenths away from the 6.999 barrier.
