Well, some of you may know that I had went through my motor over the better part of this year just for freshening and a little more power. The build up is in my sig. But I went to the track Saturday night for it's maiden track voyage. The motor had 878 miles on it. I ran 25psi and 24º timing and without a MAF sensor. Speed Density running the new Translator Pro. The track was poorly prepped at best and temps were 55º with 95% humidity ( just a cruddy day ) but here's the best pass on slicks:

RT - .625
60' - 1.644
330' - 4.505
1/8th - 6.959
mph - 100.379
¼ et - 10.873
mph - 124.107

I only ran on the slicks 3 passes cause it was a DOT tire only , through the mufflers, street car ( suppossedly ) race. And I couldn't hook on the DR's to save my life. My best run on the DR's was 11.44 @ 123.229 mph on a 2.091 60' time . It would spin on the line soo bad I had to let out and then get back in it. Swapped the dr's out for the slicks and the first pass on those was a 10.950 @ 123.925 mph on a 1.685 60'. Second pass was an 11.040 @ 124.185 on a 1.766 60' ( didn't do a good enough burnout ) then came my best pass after lowering the tire pressure. I know there's alot left in it and for the first time out on a completely new set I was very happy. Special thanks to Russ Merritt for all his support and putting up with me on the phone and emails, just a great guy and a great friend :D And also special thanks to Bob Bailey, if everyone was more like Bob the world would be a better place  Mike and Marianne you guys are the best!!!!! :D

Wow congrats, nice times!

My MAF housing just cracked on mine and its reading all messed up and I figured instead of spending all this money on getting an LS1 MAF and T + I should look at the T Pro.

Wow man congrats... Im finally ordering my Trans pro tomarrow hopefully Ive been really into this product since I first heard about it. That car is flying man. My combo is no where near your car but Im hoping to get it there someday. :D

They are great! Although I did develope a split on the PS side in the middle of the header after the car had @ 500 miles on it. But my cousin is a welder and took care of me. I think it was due to too much movement of the motor under accleration putting it in a slight bind. But all that's taken care of now :D

Boys if you haven't had a chance to check the TPro out, you need to. This thing is really unbelievable. My Mustang friends are drooling over this as is my brother who has a built 88 Corvette. And he'll be the first TPI guy to get it. They are stunned at all it can do and a bit jealous too  It's the closest thing to full blown DFI you can get at a fraction of the price. Plus the support is second to none. I hate to sound like an infomercial but with Christmas coming up this needs to be under your tree. www.maftpro.com

nice

congrats!!!! what kind of boost was you leaving at, if you dont care to say.

Donnie,
We are very proud of you and thank you for stepping up, trusting us and just installing this new unit on your car. We could not be happier that your first outing was such a big success. There is a lot left in this combo, great job.

Mike, Thank You!, that really means alot to me!
I've told you more than once that if you and Bob told me the world was flat I'd believe you :D I've run yours and Bob's stuff ever since I've owned a GN and your stuff has never let me down. So I never had a doubt about installing this totally brand new set up on a brand new, never been fired before motor. I believe what you say and the products you invent because for one they just flat out work, period and two you not only build this stuff to sell but you build it for your own cars and run it on them. Bob never sleeps, literally! He's too busy thinking up ways to make this stuff better than it already is. It's unreal. I'll email Bob at 12 midnight and he'll respond at like 2:30 in the morning! lol And the customer service ( Marianne is the best!! ) is just unbelievable!

There's alot of meat still left on this bone. 10.87 is great and I'm very happy especially for the first time out on a new everything. But with your's and Bob's help I know that we'll have this thing singing in the 10.30 -40 range in no time :D Life is good!!! ;)

Thanks Bud! You've been with me from the begining and I wouldn't have done it without your guidance and help. You've become a great friend to me and I really appreciate everything you did to point me in the right direction. I'll never forget what you said and I still laugh my a$$ off everytime I think about it, pertaining to " as long it runs after it's finished!" :D
The car has a ton left in it. I had sent Bob some of the datalogs from the runs and the tune was so rich the WB still couldn't pull enough fuel out. Bob pointed out what to change in the Pro to get it back in shape so I'll be curious to see how much better it does next time out. I had way to much fuel added in the High Load tune page and it was killing it. And it still ran as good as it did! So to say the least I am very happy and looking forward to bringing that ET down some more. BTW, I'm glad you made it back from Vegas in one piece :D I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Bishir - I am running the Pro chip. You'll love this set up :)
