Just got back from the track tonight. Made a total of 3 passes. Best pass was an 11.167 @ 119.32 mph with a 1.558 60 foot and a 7.08 1/8th mile @ 96.58 mph

Here's a short run down:

1st pass = 11.30 @ 118.33 mph w/ 1.59 sixty (23 psi boost)
2nd pass = 11.16 @ 119.32 mph w/ 1.55 sixty (25 psi boost)
3rd pass = 11.29 @ 116 mph w/ 1.51 sixty (see below)

on that last pass...when I launched the car, my boost gauge pod came flying off the pillar and hit me in the face! LOL! so I had no idea what the boost was...my car has never seen a launch so hard...ALSO on the last pass, the vacuum line off regulator blew off right before the finish line! lost a bunch of fuel after that happened...saw o2's drop in the 200's before I let out...I hope I didn't damage anything...car was running fine afterwards...

I know it's not the fastest car in the world and I should be going faster but with limited track time (first time out all year) and with more tweaking to do...I know for sure this thing is capable of 10.90's to 10.70's with more boost and tuning. Not bad for stock heavy GN wheels and 28x9 slicks! Full weight car too, no weight reduction done, full interior. I'll probably go next weekend to find that 10.xx

just thought I would share...whether you care or not that's up to you! :D

I forgot to mention the conditions! We had about a 20mph head wind coming right at us and the temps were in the middle to upper 50's. Track wasn't exactly the greatest past the 1/8th mile because everyone was getting a little squirley...my first pass I was trying really hard to keep the car straight...seemed better on the other 2 passes

unfortunately, race gas :)

I'll make some runs with the alky after I get this thing dialed in...I never seem to go faster on alky as I do the race gas, maybe because the SMC kit I have isn't progressive like the Razor kit so maybe it's too rich on the bottom

Don,

Congratulations and I expect that 10 second slip as soon as you get back from SEMA.

Nice runs man, i friend of mine that has a very similar combo 61/65s/ported heads etc... minus the cam went 11.17 at 119 or so this weekend as well. I really need to get one of these Pt61s haha. Good luck on the 10, i think shes got what it takes

Congrats on the times...can't wait to see what mine will do with that turbo. Are you running the t-350 exhuast wheel?

Congrats! I had a great weekend with my PT-61, too (in sig). Best 60', best ET and best MPH I've had in 2 years of messing with it. I popped a header gasket on the last run, but as far as broken stuff goes it's not bad.

Jim
