I got a new best today with really crapy air and way to rich.
1.65 60'
7.11 @ 98.53
11.10 @ 122.33
This was with 1450 showing on the egt's at the end of the pass.I think with it leaned out and some better air it will go tens.I hope

i just wanted to ask you about the 3.08 gears you have in your car...
did you do it, and do you like the higher gear ratio?

what is your trans and convertor combo?

All this stuff is in a 79 malibu that I done my self with the help of some friends.It started out with a 400 turbo and that why I went with 3.08 gears.I didnt like not having o/d so I put a 200r4 in it.The rear end is a 8.5 with mosier axles, moroso carier.and precision gears.the trans is out of a 85 t type with some good parts and a 3200 multi disc precision converter.I do like the 3.08 gears runs about 80 down the interstate turning about 2300 rpms.I drive the car alot so the gears are ok with me and at the track you dont have to shift to o/d.

No I dont think so.He is on radials and I was on slicks.Plus he has some new parts.

we might be taking out the 3.42's and dropping in a set of 3.08's in a friends car here in town. it bouces off the rev limited 6200 at 123ish... no O.D.

Not much going on Bryan.. Racing the malibu and waiting for the buick to get outta the paint shop (still)..

Kneel, haven't spoken in a while.. Saw you mentioned the grey car for sale. Why's that?
