I, too love the Limited

I love the cornering lamps on the front fenders.

How 'bout some interior pix.

Leather or velour? Blue I'm guessing.

Lookin' great.

It has cloth blue interior... I need to clean it first, but here are some pics of the interior....
Funny story here...
I drove from KC to Bristol for the buick event in 2000 and 2001..
My silver daily driver was parked right next to this car when we were in the car show...
I wanted it then, and now finally got it!

I also love...

the side pic. The look of no door edge guards and the cornering lamps is killer. I also like the chrome trim. Really pops with a dark car. My taste has changed as I bought a WE4 new. I remeber sitting in a silver car with a bench and chrome trim and thinking I really like the black car. I can't remember but that car might have been a Limited. I also really like the two tone cars.

Was this nicey's car from Wisconsin?

I had him call me a few weeks ago and the chain broke.. and it had a roller cam.. nice car, I almost traded my old TTA for it about two years ago.

When in doubt.. pull it out.

Wazzup Julio?
Yes it was niceys car from wisconsin and i purchased it knowing it had a slipped chain and bent the valves, i wasnt expecting the cracked block and head, but im still happy as hell i still purchased the car :)

The motor was out 6 days after i purchased the car, and ive got a girdled motor going in as soon as i get some head gaskets.
Good news, machine shop says they can fix the head...
We will see...

PS... I think im taking this one to BG this year, should be fun fun fun.

Most everything made from steel/iron is repairable. Now, it may not be a good investment/decision but it can be done. Can champion repair it? (I am sure you already asked)

I just dropped the heads off at the repair facility, he said "no problem"...
He must be good, cause i saw 3 chevy dart blocks that had been blown up and he brazed them back together...Saw a hemi block too, it was blown completely out one side
Said 45.00 to fix the head that is cracked and pressure test them for any other leaks.
Once the heads pass inspection, i need to order some valves, springs, seats..ect.

I mentioned to him that the exhaust will be around 1650, and he wanted to change to a different spec valve seat... I need to get the specs from champion so i know the heads are done the corrrect way, also the correct valve specs too...
Id hate to get it put together and it not be right the first time.

Buttonfly....Im here in OP, send me a email to wanner@kc.rr.com

Who is the handsome feller standing next to you in the last picture? What ever happened to Buicks at Bristol anyway???

Can't wait for BG, hope the blue car is running. I guess its a race now since my motor is just back from the machine shop...
I still need a tranny, and a bunch of other crap.
