keeps oil from getting in throttle body our cars tend to suck oil vapors from pvc valve into throttle body and cover intake, valves and gum up everything also lowers octane levels this can has two openings one goes to pvc and the other goes to throttle body so under normal vacuum the oil drops in the can and falls to the bottom and clean air goes to the throttle body when oil starts to show up in the eye glass just open the drain on the bottom of can. i'm going to put it on a fresh rebuild so if you get one on a car with miles on it its probably wise to do a couple top cleaner runs also the amtech ones are now 160.00 boy what a difference in priceHaynesie said:what is the point of these and how do they work? pics of install?

you will need to purchase a 3/8 check valve for the can and unscrew the two top bolts and lift off the inlet pipes. it comes with gaskets that need put on i used pewrmatex to give a vacuum tight seal also one inlet has a 1/2 in drop and the other entry inlet has a 1 1/2 inch drop tube. the long one goes to the pcv and the short ones goes to the throttle bodysalvageV6 said:I ordered one.
Nice link to the valves and Nalgene alky. bottles too.
Personally I think his feedback kinda sucks but then again I did survive the Mease downpipe group purchase.
