When i ordered mine- i was looking at a round silver cylinder- what i got is a square red anodized aluminum one. no check valve came with it and no drain, i also noticed he makes over $10. on the shipping. he charges $14.99 for shipping and the post office sent it for $4.20.

Got mine Wed,looks nice well wort the 23.88 I paid :) How/where are you guys mounting it? I have an AMW can on my GN and it's smaller than a soda can. This one is bigger. Mine is over next the the AC acumulator. This one won't fit there to big?

I just mocked mine up today, put it over in the bend from the THDP near the turbo.

Gonna get hot but so does everything else under the hood.

It is large but should fit okay, it's a function item for me not appearance.

Luckily I had a big old aluminum ex-door hinge on my turbo bracket that only serves to hold my -6AN turbo filter braided line in place, easily mounted the bracket that came with the can to that bracket with an angle steel strap from the hardware store two screws in each piece and some lockwashers.

Gotta glue the gaskets on the can and mount the fittings permanently and plumb it up then take some pics.

U.S. Plastics is a great company to deal with for those check valves even sent a follow up email for my $20 order. :D

give us some pics!! I wanna see if I have any room left under the hood for one of these snazzy dealies...

Mines been in and running for a week now. Pressure tested it to 30psi. since I didn't have vacuum available, used red loctite on one side of the gaskets.

Easy to do. ;)

IT IS BIG!!!

Doesn't bother me since it seems to be working, I used the supplied blue/clear hose so I could watch it work. :D

Didn't remove the sight "glass" tubes either but I will if they don't show the level of oil in the can......... I'm hoping they will. :)

Did some pics. at night that came out crappy so I'm waiting to borrow the camera again since I am still waiting for the 5-7 MP's ones to get under $250 with 4X optical zoom.

My install was relatively quick and easy and not meant to be hidden or on a show car, so it's an in your face kinda deal. :p

Here's some new pics.

About 2 tanks of gas so far on the system.

And yes in Pic. 2 here there's lots of water/condensation in the system, temps. went from the mid 40's to the teens overnight.

And yes in Pic. 3 that's reinforced water hose from homey depot. ;)

The sharp bend necessary for the install closed down the supplied clear hose too much for my liking. This stays open fully for good best flow and gives it that Kenmore look.

A nice pic. of the US Plastic checkvalve installed.

And lastly a pic. showing plenty of clearance near the downpipe.

have you drained it to see if there was anything in there or in your throttlebody? nice pictures by

I just drained it out.

Got about 4 oz. of nasty watery sludge, looked like neverseize at the top of the jar where it separates and gets thin.

Lots of water mixed with gray oil and a heavy gas smell to it.

I think I'll change out the oil in March for sure.

Time to order one for the GN! :)

Damm stuff melted right through the thin plastic box I drained it into so I could take some pictures of it when I borrowed the camera, but now that ain't gonna happen.

GREAT glad it works i guess that stuff would have ended up in your engine CANT BE GOOD FOR IT
