new GN owner seeks recipe 4 mid 11s

I have some parts for my 11 sec. haul,but I want to see if i need anything else. I have a right side air bag,36#bluetops,Thrasher 108s,big neck on intercooler,bfgoodrich275/60/15s,k&n filter,and the T-49 turbo. What if anything else could i need. thanks in advance for the help

you might want a stall with that large of a turbo

as has been stated many times before, a TA-49 and Blue Tops is a high 11 sec combo, and that only at very high boost levels (25 lbs +)

you will also need a better 60' time than BFG's can give you...so put slicks on your shopping list

most cars going that fast on a '49 have something like a Terry Houston downpipe with dump

your transmission will need to be in top shape.......a bigger stall converter will help with the launch

race gas & chip (I see you have a Red's 108) and of course an upgraded fuel pump should be the first item on your list

Go to the track and get some baseline runs to see where you are. I've run mid 11's (11.53@118 best) with that exact combo (Plus a THDP thru the exhaust), but there are lots of little things I do that added up to that ET. See where you are now and then you can better determine what you have to do to meet your goals.
