Hello guys,
I spent the day working on a soon to be turbo charged honda civic hatchback. Well he's got the turbo, but the engine was just built and he's braking it in. Well, this guy from the atl, (pretty cool guy) was helping us. He said he's got a 10 sec hatch back, sound like he's got a nice setup. Any of you guys run into a really fast hatch back in atlanta at reynolds? (asian guy)
Anyways, he took a look at my gn, b/c it was smoking a little bit, he said that he think one of the head gaskets maybe bad. Well, what do you guys think, and how much should I look to spend on head gaskets?
thanks
charles

If you are talking about bluish smoke (oil smoke) coming out of the tail pipes, then the turbo oil seals are the most likely problem.

However, as said above, check your coolant for signs of oil and/or air bubbles, and check your oil for signs of coolant.

And a word of advice - never listen to an import guy when they try to diagnose a Buick problem! :D

Good Luck,

He just wants your car to be down for awhile so you can stop kicking his a$$!

lol, I dont think this will be happening anytime soon. This dude has a lot more money to spend than myself. He was really cool though, he said he has ran some gn's in atlanta at the track. I dont think he was trying to give me misleading info.
also yes it is a bluish smoke.
thanks
charles
