A DIY kit without jigs would be pretty much worthless.

I see the crossover has a slip joint. Would these headers be able to fit on an on-center Stage motor without modification?

Good question.. I'll have to do a trial fit if I can find an on center motor to use.

The crossover is whats been the fly in the ointment on these headers and why its taken so long to get them done. The crossover in the picture is actually not the final design.

Have not tried one, but I think they will. We will try one before finalized to be for sure.

Are these headers related to the twin turbo kit that is suppose to come out in the future ?

Headers

Nick,
Are these the headers I purchased? They look exactly like them. They bolted on in 2 hrs and fit like a glove. I have a 3.5 inch downpipe on my GN so clearance is no problem if they are the same as mine?

They are two completley different items. Being built on different sides of the country. They are both unique in there own way:cool:

These headers are for racing, the twin kit is for looks and racing!

I would also be interested in a set with a 4 bolt flange with external wastegate. If the wastegate is not doable I would still be interested in a set with the 4 bolt flange.

The crossover has been fixed.. just need to test fit it on a couple more cars.

I can't dig up the debate thread, but what is the advantage of this design with the seperate pipe from the drivers side to the turbo over the more common through design on the stock pieces and the TA/AZGN headers?

Thanks and please delete if this isn't the place for this discussion,

ATR style keeps all the exhaust flowing towards the turbo without interrupting any other cylinders flow. The log style has the drivers exhaust gasses colliding into the #6 flow.

Hmmm... have we set a timeline on these headers because I won't buy the chinese ones later but I can't really go buying $1000+ worth of stuff that might not clear my front suspension on either the crossover or more importantly the external tube clearing the passengers upper control arm in my Riviera.

The headers are being test fit tomorrow I think on 3 or 4 cars. If everything clears, we'll start production shortly thereafter.

If its not too prying, how many are reserved? I wouldn't really expect these to reenter circulation in quantity and unless the nailhead melts down its a year before I'm testing the engine fitment.
