My new motor is running extremely rich. I've reset the cam sensor a dozen times & nothing changes. I bought new 009's & RA93 chip after starting this thread - http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=45873&goto=newpost
& still no change. I've tried 2 different, known to be good mafs, swapped o2 sensors & just about everything else you could imagine. It starts right up every time but is just dumping butt-loads of fuel. While priming the oil system the key was inadvertently left on & the fuel pump started running when the oil pressure hit a certain point. Could this have caused some sort of problem? Could something have happened to the ECM? I can't find any wires that are unhooked anywhere or any that are pinched. I'm grasping at straws here. Unless somehow I'm $ucked up with the cam sensor I don't understand how the fueling can be so screwed up. Any ideas? I NEED HELP!!! What am I missing???

Thanks,
Lee

Mabe your return line or fuel pressure regulator is screwed up and its pushing all that fuel through . Try a different ECM if you can. problems SUCK!:(

Mass airflow installed backwards? Friend of mine did that once. Dumped lots of fuel in it.

Dont see how your fuel pump kicking on during priming could do anything unless your injectors are leaking. What is your FP set at. Maybe the regulator needs to be rebuilt. Put another chip in temporarily since Reds chips are notoriously rich and try that.

How do you know it is dumping fuel? black smoke out the tail pipes? fouled plugs?

I had a similar problem and did similar things to try to fix it. Turns out my ignition module was bad. Spark at the middle coil was intermittent and weak causing a rich condition.

Just a thought....
