Been sitting in my garage for 4 years. Built GN1 stroker motor which is also where I got this flywheel and went with JW flywheel instead due to peer pressure from friends, lol. Anyway, they go for $169 at GN1 so how about $100 plus the ride? Tired of looking at it in my garage.

My friend and I were debating this very topic as to whether the GN1 stroker is internal or external. Apparently they don't answer their phones anymore as I've been trying to call them since last wednesday. How can you tell this one is external? I can't remember how I got the thing. I honestly thought it came with the stroker kit which was $1995 back then but the receipt doesn't list a flex plate, but that's $200 more than it is now. Or maybe I ordered the wrong one and that's why I went with the JW, I don't remember.

I found my full throttle invoice and it does say internal.
1 35993007 J&W Internal Balance Flexplate Buick V6 1 $249.00 EA $249.00
2 057BU-IBV6-7 B H J Balancer Buick V6 Internal Balance 1 $459.98 EA $459.98
3 057BU-V6-TW Trigger Wheel Option for Buick Balancer 1 $0.01 EA $0.01
4 SH SHIPPING/HANDLING 1 $12.50 EA $12.50

So maybe I ordered the wrong one and then ordered these from full throttle. Damned if I remember.

its a good plate for stock crank or external bal forged which you could get on a stock stroke eagle , i run that plate on my 86 which has an early eagle external forged crank ,
on a forged crank you need to chamfer the inside edge to clear the radius on the crank hub , takes a couple seconds with a die grinder to v the back edge

you can tell its for external by the 3 large holes on one half of the plate and the other 3 arent cut out making it heavier on one side , the pattern is a copy of the stock plate
the internal plate is neutral balanced and has the 6 large holes all the way around the plate like the one that full throttle has a pic of (their pic is of a sb chevy plate but that is internal ) which makes the plate balanced so the crank has to be internal balanced
