Who would think people are still doing new parts for Hot air cars

We have 84 GN upper door panels & rear seat inserts being built. Should be in less then 2 weeks. Same as our show quality upper door panels & trying to keep the price the same even though the material is more expensive.

Friday we will have the new 84-5 Intake manifold emblems in as well. Not sure there is a demand for these but there use to be. Price will be less then $50. I can remember yanking used ones years ago with out trying to crack the glass. Then other cars would come in with them missing.

Thanks for remembering us hot air guys, Brian!!!:D :D

....Now...how about some aftermarket headers???.....

---Keith

Just wish you'd remember the earlier ones more. How about a better turbo for the carbed guys? I can show you how if ya wanna see.

now that you've got the engine decal, how about doing the power 6 fender badge next?

brian, thanks for everything you do for us buick guys.

Actually it is the correct GM glass inlay for the intake. We are working on the T-6 next month if these move. I want to see if these move first . It cost a little bit of $ to get these built. But with all the rivs I figured they would move best.

We just made a copper EGR chamber gasket because a customer couldn't find new. That will be on the site shortly.

charlief1 I guess it comes down to cost versus sales. E-mail me to discuss bud.

Doing the items we are doing is just to say thanks for all of your support over the years. It's just to say we are listening we know you need parts that the 86-7 guys do & we haven't for gotten you. It isn't all about the $ but we have to make it worth it to stay in business.

Keith is there really that big of a demand for headers? I only sold 6 down pipes & have 4 here. I didn't get rich off the down pipes. Believe me it cost me about 10 sales on the 86-7 units do to them falling behind getting the 84-5's done. If you wanted to get technical it cost me $.

I have no problems working on parts for Hot airs, Hell I even have a few myself. I just have to make sure we don't lose $ doing it.
Also looking for a nice 84 GN moon roof. Running preffered but not needed.
No rust buckets but Paint Job & interior work isn't a problem. Well optioned from the factory Preffered :) Not desperately hunting one, they normally fall in my lap :)

Someone like me, who has a bigger turbo sittin on the shelf...waiting, needs headers. When I get the headers lined up, then I am planning on picking up one of your DP's. (I don't wanna tear everything down 3 times) Unfortunately, Postons, the ONLY place that offers aftermarket hot air headers, has them on indefinate backorder. So, that leaves someone like me, S.O.L. As far as a general demand...watch how fast a used set of Postons sells on the board...usually within minutes.

You've got mail Brian. Hope you like the idea. As far as headers, since Postons is in the craper I decided to try and make my own in a manner of speaking. My pass side will be made out of an old Hooker pass side. I just have to cut it off, move some of the pipes slightly, and add a log going from the crossover and then pipe for the turbo. When I get it done I'm goiing to post it so anyone can do it if they want.

I'll give Postons a call tomorrow & see what it would take to get these rolling again. Maybe we can work something out where they can carry our 3" down pipe & we can carry there Headers. Wish me Luck.

charlief1 getting ready to call it a night after 13 hour day. I will read your mail with about 3 cups of coffee in me when I'm awake. This time of night I tend to glance thru Mail instead of reading them properly. If you took the time to write it I want to take the time to read it.

Granted I only work 9 hours a day but I spend 3-4 hours on here and I understand. Have a good night Brian and I hope you like my idea. It shouldn't be a very expensive job either.

That's cool you'd call them and try to get things going, hope it works out for both companies.

Hello Brian,

Let me tell you, As far as the downpipes go, I would buy one but I just think it was bad timing do to this economy. I personally would buy one but do to shorter hours at work & all going on I've had to watch the way I spend money. I am optimistic that it will get better soon. With these cars costing a bit less than intercooled ones they will be more desirable in the future.:)
