Hey, us Buick guys at PTE are wondering how our PTE stock location intercooler is doing out there? Haven't heard much feedback about it...If anyone doesn't know, here is a new picture of it...it retails for $795 and we have plenty in the shop ready to go! These intercoolers can support nearly 750 horsepower and are a bar and plate design which is much more efficient than the older tube and fin style. What kind of improvements are people seeing out there? Let's have some numbers!

The intercooler will include the correct hoses and clamps for your specific application. Specify when ordering.

Give us a call at 219-996-7832

Thanks guys:)

Ok, 3 questions:

- Can you explain how this Bar and Plate design works?

- What makes it better than a standard tube and fin setup?

- Is PTE planning on making a bar and plate Front mount, specifically in the size of your larger frontmount that you guys make now?

Thanks!

- Matt

To my understanding the front mount is also a bar and plate style now...

Bar and plate is much more efficient of condensing air molecules compared to the tube and fin...the insides of the core won't ever rust like a tube and fin could...you can flow more volume of air through a bar and plate...and to my understanding, it flows air from one side of the end tank to the other across the whole core, not moving air through a long tube like a standard core...

hope that helps a little bit
