We finished the GN hood recently. I like this test sample much better than the first one. The first sample fit great and looked fine, however the bird bath issue happened with it like the original, so we made it a mil thicker, and it is much more sturdy than the original. Look forward to putting it on my 84. The pictures are of a prime, seal, base and clearcoat.

Will these crack at the under skin near the spot weld like the stockers? The flexing of the inner skin flexing when the hood is shut causes this.
 
Wish someone would make the dash speaker cover that is not 200$ Maybe u..
 
lol, If I did "he" would drop the price to a fraction just to hurt the tooling investment we would incur to make the part. I know how much there is in each one, and it isnt much. An area we dont want to step into

Finished and installed. When the hood closes the metal does not vibrate. This hood was able to take me pushing on the front about 100 times in my effort to align the gaps. It only took me a couple tines on the first sample to make the bird bath dent....I believe this hood is a very good alternative to the original equipment.
