Hot off the presses (pun intended) the new SCE internal wastegate copper gasket.
Thanks to Aaron at SCE gaskets for helping me get this project going (and picking up the tooling costs)

Pete Hoffman at Kirban's and Brian at GBodyParts will have these in stock by Friday. This is a big improvement over the old GBodyParts copper int. D/P gasket. It is both thicker and adds the embossed ring (crush zone) for better sealing. And best yet, the price will be the same as the old one - $20

SCE could suck my balls.

Years ago I was speaking with them about making a copper gasket for the integral wastegate. They were interested and they told me to send them a template. Before sending the template, I asked them what benefit will I see. They told me they'll send me a few gaskets for free. I made a template and sent it off to them. I call them a few months later and they told me that they weren't interested in making it. A few months later, they have it available.

Not a fan of copper gaskets. Those of us who push our motors will be changing gaskets, and copper gaskets can only be squished so many times before they dont seal.

In stock now at GBodyParts !
Also available now from Pete Hoffman at Kirban's !
